As an Environmental Services (EVS) Technician, you'll play a vital role in maintaining hospital cleanliness and sanitation standards that directly impact patient care and safety.

As an EVS Technician, you will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing patient care areas and common spaces throughout the hospital while following strict infection-control and sanitation guidelines.
Key Responsibilities'05; Clean and sanitize patient rooms, discharge rooms, hallways, and public areas
'05; Sweep, mop, dust, and disinfect surfaces
'05; Remove trash and transport laundry as needed
'05; Maintain high sanitation and cleanliness standards
'05; Follow hospital safety and infection-control protocols
'05; Work collaboratively with team members to support a safe healthcare environment
What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications
- At least 1 year of housekeeping, environmental services, or janitorial experience
- Ability to lift, push, or pull 50-75 lbs
- Ability to stand and walk for 6-8 hours per shift
- Comfortable working in a healthcare environment, including exposure to medical situations, blood, and trauma
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Previous experience in a hospital, healthcare, hospitality, or hotel setting

Work Schedule
This is a fast-paced hospital environment operating 24/7. Team members must be available to work rotating weekends.
Available Shifts🕖 1st Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
🌇 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
🌙 3rd Shift: 10:30 PM - 7:00 AM

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Austin, TX.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.50/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
