3rd Shift Production Worker
Job Description
The 3rd shift production worker assembles plastic components, performs quality inspections, and prepares finished products for shipment while maintaining a steady production pace in a fast-paced, air-conditioned manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities- Assemble plastic components and parts according to detailed work instructions and product specifications.
- Operate basic production and assembly equipment, including hand tools and simple machines, as required.
- Perform quality inspections using gauges, measuring tools, and visual checks to ensure products meet established standards.
- Identify defects or inconsistencies in products and promptly report issues to supervisors for corrective action.
- Package finished products accurately, following labeling and packing guidelines to prepare items for shipment.
- Maintain production pace to meet daily output goals while following all safety and quality procedures.
- Use computers as needed to enter basic production, quality, or packaging information.
- Follow all workplace safety rules, including proper use of equipment and adherence to dress code requirements.
- Work Monday to Friday on 3rd shift (12:00 AM – 8:00 AM) and occasionally work mandatory overtime on Saturdays as needed.
- Previous production or general labor experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
- Ability to read gauges and other instruments to conduct quality checks.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing or general production processes.
- Ability to use hand tools safely and accurately during assembly tasks.
- Comfortable using computers for simple data entry or production-related tasks.
- At least 1 year of tenure at previous employers, demonstrating reliability and commitment.
- Willingness to occasionally work mandatory overtime on Saturdays.
- Experience in the manufacturing industry is a plus.
- Familiarity with machine operation in a production setting is beneficial.
- Attention to detail when inspecting parts and identifying defects.
- Strong work ethic and ability to maintain consistent productivity throughout the shift.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
- Dependable attendance and punctuality on 3rd shift schedule.

Work EnvironmentThis role is based in an air-conditioned manufacturing facility focused on plastic component production. Work is performed on 3rd shift, Monday to Friday from 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM, with occasional mandatory overtime on Saturdays. The environment is fast paced and production driven, with an emphasis on meeting daily output and quality goals. Employees use hand tools, basic production equipment, gauges, and measuring instruments to assemble and inspect products. The dress code requires closed-toe shoes and jeans, along with adherence to all safety guidelines and personal protective equipment as directed. The building is designed to support continuous production while maintaining a comfortable temperature and a structured, process-oriented work setting.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
