Specialty Molding Line Worker | WEEKLY PAY | $17–$20/hrPosition Overview

The Specialty Molding Line Worker supports operations for a major custom‑cabinet manufacturing company. All employees start in the molding department and rotate through different production areas throughout the workday. This role focuses on cutting finished and specialty panels, operating woodworking machinery, and maintaining equipment to ensure efficient, high‑quality production. Over time, you’ll have opportunities to move into other departments and grow within the company.

Responsibilities
  • Cut finished and specialty panels with high precision and strong attention to detail.
  • Operate table saws and edge‑banding machines safely and efficiently to meet production needs.
  • Identify equipment issues, inspect parts for quality, and adjust machine controls as needed.
  • Replace blades and tool components to maintain optimal machine performance.
  • Set up, calibrate, and prepare machines for daily production.
  • Clean and maintain equipment, tools, and work areas to ensure a safe and organized environment.
  • Use tape measures and hand tools to perform accurate measurements and prep tasks.
  • Follow production instructions and work in a fast‑paced environment while meeting training and performance requirements.
  • Collaborate with team members across departments to support overall production goals.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned to support manufacturing operations.
Essential Skills
  • At least 6 months of experience in production, general labor, construction, or similar work.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs regularly.
  • Ability to pass a tape‑measure reading test and perform accurate measurements.
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment and meeting training requirements.
  • Experience using hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
  • Basic knowledge of saws, including table saws.
  • Strong hand‑eye coordination and attention to detail when working with cabinets, carpentry, or assembly tasks.
  • Ability to inspect finished parts and panels for quality and accuracy.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience in production, general labor, or construction is a plus.
  • Background in carpentry, cabinet manufacturing, or related work is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of woodworking processes and materials.
  • Experience using tape measures, hand tools, and power tools for assembly and cutting tasks.
  • Ability to work across different departments and adapt to changing tasks throughout the day.
Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Harrisburg, SD.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
