WelderLooking for welders who take pride in building quality work.If you're the type of welder who enjoys fitting your own material, working from blueprints, and seeing a project come together from raw steel to finished assembly, this is the kind of shop you'll appreciate.
We're growing our welding team and looking for experienced welders to help fabricate and assemble large steel weldments used in a variety of commercial and industrial applications. This is not repetitive production welding. You'll be involved in fabrication, fitting, layout, welding, and quality checks throughout the build process.
What You'll Do- Fit, fabricate, and weld heavy steel assemblies from detailed engineering drawings
- Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications
- Perform MIG welding on structural steel components
- Lay out, fit, and assemble fabricated parts to print
- Use fabrication equipment including grinders, drills, and impact tools
- Verify dimensions and inspect your work to ensure quality standards are met
- Operate overhead cranes to safely move material and assemblies throughout the shop
- Work closely with leads and supervisors to maintain project schedules and production goals
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- MIG welding experience in a fabrication, manufacturing, or heavy industrial environment
- Strong blueprint reading skills
- Experience fitting and assembling steel components
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure and verify dimensions
- Experience using common fabrication tools including grinders, drills, and impact tools
- Ability to pass a weld test:
- 2G Single Bevel Groove Weld
- 1" Plate
- Experience welding and fabricating large steel components and assemblies
- Overhead crane experience
- Understanding of weld quality standards and fabrication tolerances
- Experience performing quality checks and inspections on finished work
- Familiarity with 5S and continuous improvement practices
- Can read blueprints and work independently without constant direction
- Takes pride in producing clean, high-quality welds
- Enjoys fabrication work, not just welding the same parts all day
- Comfortable working with large steel components and assemblies
- Shows up reliably and works well as part of a team
- Maintains a strong safety mindset while staying productive
- Has a positive, "get it done" attitude and is willing to help wherever needed

Monday - Thursday
6:00 AM - 4:30 PM
2nd ShiftMonday - Thursday
4:30 PM - 3:00 AM
- Shift differential available on qualifying shifts
- Overtime is common on Fridays during busy periods
- Typical workweeks average around 50 hours for much of the year
- Additional Saturday overtime opportunities may be available during peak production periods
You'll work in a busy fabrication facility alongside skilled welders and fabricators producing custom steel assemblies. Material is moved throughout the shop using overhead cranes and forklifts, and employees are provided with Powered Air Purifying Respirator (PAPR) welding hoods to support both comfort and safety.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.26 - $26.99/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
