Job Description
Location: Greencastle, IN
Pay: $17-$18.50/hr
Shift: 1st- 7:00 AM- 3:30 PM
2nd- 3:30 PM- 11:00 PM
3rd- 11:00 PM- 7:30 AM
Job Responsibilities- Perform visual and dimensional inspections on automotive plastic components.
- Use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection equipment.
- Conduct first article, in-process, and final inspections.
- Verify parts meet blueprint specifications and customer requirements.
- Identify and document quality defects.
- Complete quality reports and maintain inspection records.
- Segregate non-conforming materials and follow escalation procedures.
- Support root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Communicate quality concerns with production and engineering teams.
- Maintain a clean and organized inspection area.
- Manufacturing experience required.
- Quality inspection experience preferred.
- Ability to stand throughout the shift.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to maintain accurate documentation and records.
- Automotive or plastics manufacturing experience.
- Injection molding experience.
- Ability to read blueprints and work instructions.
- Experience using calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Knowledge of quality control and quality assurance processes.
This is a Permanent position based out of Greencastle, IN 46135.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35360.00 - $38480.00/yr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
