Responsibilities
- Design and develop user interfaces with a focus on user-centric design for both hardware control and application software.
- Build and maintain clear, efficient, reusable, and reliable code using C#, Blazor, XAML/WPF, and additional languages as needed.
- Collaborate with UX designers, product managers, and backend developers to ensure seamless user experiences.
- Troubleshoot and maintain existing UI components and applications.
- Participate in code reviews and adhere to development best practices and coding standards.
- Propose designs and alternatives for internal discussion with key stakeholders and management.
- Contribute to individual and team efforts, meeting schedules and communicating obstacles and risks.

Essential Skills
- B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 6+ years of professional software development experience.
- Proficiency in C#, .NET, Azure, or equivalent tools.
- Strong understanding of UI design principles and best practices.
- Experience with .NET frameworks and Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF).
- Proficiency in UI technologies like Blazor, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, Bootstrap, and CSS.
- Experience with modern software development practices, including git-flow, continuous integration, package management, and containerized builds.
- Experience in integrating third-party libraries and components.
- Demonstrated history of test automation including unit testing and code analysis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in machine vision is highly desired.
- Familiarity with software development for capital equipment is a plus.
- Experience with GRPC, WinUI, and ASP.Net MVC.
- Experience in agile development and the Azure environment/tools with DevOps.
- Experience taking Figma mockups from UX designers and accurately recreating them in the .NET environment.
- Experience with REST APIs and data management.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Beaverton, OR.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $50.00 - $76.92/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
