Job Overview

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician II to join our operations maintenance team in a high-volume distribution environment. In this role, you will be responsible for repairing, maintaining, and improving material handling equipment and pneumatic systems throughout the facility. You will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of automated packaging and distribution operations.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on maintenance professional who enjoys troubleshooting complex equipment, working with automated systems, and contributing to a fast-paced operational environment.

Responsibilities
  • Repair and maintain material handling equipment to ensure consistent and efficient facility operations.
  • Install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment in accordance with safety and quality standards.
  • Respond to maintenance requests and troubleshoot equipment issues in a timely manner.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and pneumatic systems, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections to minimize downtime and maximize equipment reliability.
  • Document maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage accurately.
  • Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to prioritize work orders and maintain workflow efficiency.
  • Follow all safety policies, procedures, and guidelines while working on automated equipment and machinery.
Required Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a maintenance technician working with material handling equipment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience diagnosing and repairing automated equipment.
  • Hands-on experience with pneumatic systems and related components.
  • Ability to install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment.
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
  • Ability to read and follow technical manuals, instructions, and maintenance procedures.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a distribution, warehouse, manufacturing, or automated production environment.
  • Knowledge of preventive maintenance and reliability-centered maintenance practices.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team-oriented maintenance environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving automated systems.

Work Environment

This position is based in a large distribution facility operating automated packaging, sorting, conveyor, and material handling systems. The environment is fast-paced and operationally focused, requiring adherence to safety protocols and the use of appropriate industrial work attire, including closed-toe safety footwear.

Schedule: Sunday - Wednesday, Overnight Shift

Pay Rate: $32.50 per hour

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.50 - $32.50/hr.
