Project Manager/Superintendent
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Project Manager/Superintendent for a temporary 5-8 week project. The individual will serve as the primary point of contact on-site for various tiny interior projects. They will fulfill all roles typically associated with a Project Manager and Superintendent, handling administrative tasks as well. The role requires a professional with 3+ years of experience in commercial renovations, specifically in interior retail and full building renovations.
Responsibilities- Serve as the main point of contact on-site for tiny interior projects.
- Manage all aspects of project management and superintendent duties.
- Run multiple small jobs independently, typically between $100k and $500k in value.
- Supervise multiple jobs concurrently, sometimes valued between $500k and $1.2 million.
- Receive and review RFPs, invitations to bid, and other estimating opportunities.
- Organize, analyze, and comprehend all construction and specification documents, including drawings.
- Attend pre-bid walkthroughs and meetings related to estimating opportunities.
- Prepare written estimates while maintaining guidelines as requested by the client or project specifications.
- 5+ years of site management/project management experience in commercial construction.
- 3+ years of experience running 2+ commercial interior construction jobs at a time.
- Proven experience completing interior work from start to finish, including retail, office space, and tenant interiors.
- Experience in commercial officer interiors, interior retail, and full building renovations.
This role involves working on-site for interior renovation projects, focusing on office and retail spaces. It requires managing projects independently, with attention to all aspects of project management, including administrative tasks.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Arlington, VA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $42.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
