Job Description
We are seeking Manufacturing Process Technicians to support a new production line at a Finished Product Pharmaceutical Facility. Due to increased market demand, these technicians will be responsible for loading materials, completing electronic batch records, making log book entries, documenting work orders, and performing process checks to ensure quality. The role requires a tech-savvy mindset and the ability to suggest solutions for recurring issues. This entry-level opportunity welcomes individuals from various backgrounds who are motivated to enter the pharmaceutical manufacturing field.
Responsibilities
- Load materials and manage the production line efficiently.
- Complete electronic batch records and log book entries accurately.
- Document work orders and conduct process checks to ensure product quality.
- Identify and report recurring issues and suggest potential solutions.
- Maintain strong communication and demonstrate critical thinking.
- Provide suggestions for process improvement.
Essential Skills
- Experience in manufacturing operations or biotechnology.
- Exposure to and understanding of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
- Interest in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
- Healthcare experience or previous manufacturing experience.
- Technical proficiency for handling electronic documentation.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Bioworks/Associates in Biotechnology is a plus.
- Experience in regulated industries such as food, medical devices, or cosmetics.
Work Environment
This is a manufacturing environment with a night shift on a 2-2-3 schedule. Initial training occurs on a day shift from Monday to Friday, after which employees may transition to the night shift. The work environment may be fast-paced and demanding, but supportive, with a focus on teamwork and success. Scrubs and close-toed shoes or work boots are required attire, with facilities available for changing.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Clayton, NC.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.69 - $25.69/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
