OverviewWe are seeking experienced Production Supervisors to join a leading heavy industrial manufacturing facility in Wildwood, FL. This role is responsible for overseeing daily production operations, leading production teams, driving safety and quality initiatives, and ensuring production goals are achieved efficiently during assigned shifts.
The ideal candidate will have a strong manufacturing leadership background within steel, metals, pipe/tube, or other heavy industrial environments and thrive in a fast-paced production setting.
Shift Availability2nd Shift: Monday-Friday, 1:30 PM - 10:30 PM
3rd Shift: Monday-Friday, 9:30 PM - 6:30 AM
Rotating weekend coverage required every 4-6 weeks. Weekend hours are paid hourly.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise hourly production employees during assigned shift.
- Ensure production schedules and performance targets are met safely and efficiently.
- Monitor productivity, quality, scrap rates, downtime, and overall operational performance.
- Lead safety initiatives and maintain compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Coach, mentor, and hold employees accountable for performance expectations.
- Troubleshoot production issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate effective shift-to-shift communication to ensure operational continuity.
- Complete production reporting and maintain accurate operational records.
- Collaborate with maintenance, quality, and management teams to address production challenges.
- Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, steel, metals, pipe/tube, or other heavy industrial environments.
- Experience managing production employees on off-shift schedules.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production metrics, and equipment troubleshooting.
- Proven leadership ability with a track record of driving results and improving team performance.
- Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with production reporting systems, Microsoft Office, and email communication.
- Approximately 90% on the production floor and 10% office-based.
- Large 7-acre manufacturing facility with golf cart transportation provided.
- Non-climate-controlled industrial environment.
- Hands-on leadership role requiring regular interaction with employees and production equipment.

Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Wildwood, FL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $65000.00/yr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
