Strategic Sourcing | Supplier Management | Cost OptimizationAbout the Role

In this role, you'll take ownership of supplier strategy, sourcing decisions, cost management initiatives, and cross-functional projects that directly support business objectives.

You'll be responsible for managing a portfolio of complex suppliers and product categories while balancing quality, delivery, innovation, and total cost considerations.

Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Sourcing & Supplier Management
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies for assigned supplier portfolios and product categories
  • Evaluate supplier capabilities, market conditions, manufacturing processes, and commercial opportunities
  • Lead supplier selection activities for new product development and business expansion initiatives
  • Establish and maintain strong supplier relationships focused on collaboration, accountability, and long-term value
Negotiation & Cost Optimization
  • Lead commercial negotiations involving pricing, contracts, and cost-reduction initiatives
  • Identify opportunities to improve profitability through strategic sourcing and supplier partnerships
  • Develop cost targets and sourcing recommendations supported by market research and business data
  • Deliver annual savings and continuous improvement objectives
Market Intelligence & Analysis
  • Monitor industry trends, market pricing, emerging technologies, and supplier landscape developments
  • Analyze supplier performance and business metrics to support strategic decision-making
  • Present recommendations and sourcing strategies to leadership and key stakeholders
Project Leadership
  • Manage multiple sourcing initiatives and product development programs simultaneously
  • Coordinate activities across procurement, engineering, operations, quality, and finance teams
  • Drive project milestones, issue resolution, and stakeholder alignment
  • Support business-critical projects focused on efficiency, supplier diversity, and operational excellence
Team Development
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to early-career procurement professionals
  • Share best practices and support team development initiatives
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and collaborative problem-solving
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Operations, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, supply chain, engineering, quality, sales, or a related discipline
  • Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills
  • Ability to analyze data and translate insights into business recommendations
  • Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Dublin, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $33.65/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
