Job Description

This role focuses on performing maintenance and inspections on corporate Falcon aircraft based at Morristown Airport. You will handle scheduled maintenance, post-flight checks, and troubleshooting of airframe, engines, and related components to ensure safe, reliable operation of the fleet.

Responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled maintenance on Falcon corporate aircraft in accordance with approved procedures and manuals.
  • Conduct aircraft post-flight inspections and routine checks to identify and address potential issues.
  • Troubleshoot airframe, engine, and aircraft systems to diagnose mechanical and avionics problems.
  • Carry out repairs and component replacements to maintain aircraft in airworthy condition.
  • Interpret and follow maintenance manuals, technical data, and service bulletins accurately.
  • Perform avionics troubleshooting as needed to resolve electrical and electronic system issues.
  • Document all maintenance activities clearly and accurately in required records and logs.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance personnel to ensure efficient workflow and timely aircraft turnaround.
  • Adhere to all safety procedures and regulatory requirements while working in the hangar environment.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean, organized, and safe condition.

Essential Skills

  • Active Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license.
  • Minimum of 5 years of aircraft maintenance experience on corporate jets or regional aircraft.
  • Hands-on maintenance experience specifically with Falcon aircraft.
  • Strong aircraft maintenance and troubleshooting skills across airframe, engine, and systems.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and apply aircraft maintenance manuals and technical documentation.
  • Experience with avionics troubleshooting and basic electrical systems diagnosis.
  • Capability to work on corporate aircraft in a hangar environment.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to commute to Morristown Airport within driving distance.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Previous experience working on Falcon Jet models in a corporate aviation setting.
  • Proven ability to diagnose complex mechanical and avionics issues efficiently.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
  • Effective communication skills for coordinating with maintenance teams and flight operations.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while following established procedures.

Work Environment

The work involves hands-on aircraft maintenance in a hangar setting, using typical aviation tools and equipment. The dress code includes a T-shirt, work pants, and steel-toe boots to support safety and comfort while performing maintenance tasks.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $110000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
