Pay: $28.00/hour starting, with increase up to $30.00/hour after 90 business days
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Overtime: Available on Fridays

Position Overview
The MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) Technician is responsible for inspecting, testing, repairing, and maintaining complex electrical power systems and components used in high-performance environments. This role supports the full lifecycle of electrical equipment by ensuring systems meet strict quality, safety, and reliability standards.
Technicians work in a production and service environment focused on precision, compliance, and continuous improvement, contributing to the performance and safety of advanced electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance, repair, and overhaul of electrical and power distribution components, including wiring systems, harnesses, panels, and electromechanical assemblies
- Disassemble, clean, inspect, troubleshoot, and reassemble components in accordance with technical specifications and procedures
- Conduct functional testing, diagnostics, and fault isolation using specialized tools and equipment
- Interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation to ensure accurate repairs
- Ensure all work complies with established quality standards, safety regulations, and industry requirements
- Accurately document inspection results, repairs performed, and test outcomes
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and support continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to resolve technical issues
Qualifications
- Experience in maintenance, repair, or overhaul (MRO) of electrical or electromechanical systems preferred
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and repair manuals
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with industry-standard tools, test equipment, and repair techniques
- High attention to detail with a focus on quality and accuracy
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills for documentation and system tracking
Work Environment
- Production and repair setting with exposure to electrical equipment and mechanical systems
- Requires standing, bending, and handling components throughout the shift
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sarasota, FL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $26.00 - $28.00/hr.
