Electromechanic
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Electromechanic to join our production facility. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical and mechanical systems on food processing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on processing machinery, packaging equipment, conveyors, and automated systems.
- Diagnose and repair electrical issues including motors, sensors, PLCs, and control panels.
- Troubleshoot mechanical problems involving gearboxes, belts, bearings, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
- Collaborate with production and quality teams to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and equipment upgrades.
- Respond to emergency breakdowns and support production during critical operations.
- High school diploma
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, mechanical components, and automation controls.
- Familiarity with HACCP, GMP, and other food safety standards.
- Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
This is a Permanent position based out of Saddle Brook, NJ.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $70720.00 - $79040.00/yr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
