We are looking for an efficient Human Resources Recruiter to support a nonprofit organization in Elkridge, Maryland. This Contract position is ideal for someone who thrives in a high-activity hiring environment and enjoys connecting with candidates for frontline operational roles. The person in this role will help attract and advance talent with relevant experience for driver and warehouse openings while delivering a detail-oriented and responsive hiring experience. Responsibilities:
• Lead end-to-end recruitment efforts for driver and warehouse vacancies, from opening a requisition through candidate selection.
• Create and manage job advertisements across recruiting channels to maintain a steady flow of applicants.
• Identify talent through sourcing activities, review applications, and conduct initial screening conversations to evaluate fit.
• Schedule and coordinate interviews while guiding candidates through each stage of the hiring process in a timely manner.
• Oversee pre-employment activities such as coordination of required screening steps and related onboarding tasks.
• Maintain accurate applicant tracking records and document recruiting progress, candidate status, and outreach activity.
• Build and manage active candidate pipelines to help reduce time-to-fill across multiple open roles.
• Communicate consistently with applicants and hiring partners to ensure a smooth, positive, and organized recruitment experience.
• Prioritize urgent hiring needs and adapt quickly to changing demands in a fast-paced staffing environment.• Experience supporting full-cycle recruiting or a similarly high-volume, people-centered role such as customer service or hospitality.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-moving environment with multiple openings and competing priorities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage candidates from diverse backgrounds.
• Proven organizational skills and attention to detail when tracking applicants and recruitment activity.
• Comfortable conducting candidate interviews and making sound initial assessments of qualifications.
• Self-directed approach to work with a strong sense of urgency and follow-through.
• Familiarity with sourcing methods, recruiting platforms, and applicant tracking systems.
• Results-oriented mindset with the drive to maintain pipeline activity and fill positions efficiently.
