2nd Shift - Tufflex Tag Sewer
Job Description
Join a fast-paced industrial sewing department on 2nd shift (Monday through Friday, 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm) operating a sit-down sewing machine to attach product information tags onto Tufflex slings used in a variety of industries. This role focuses on efficient, accurate production while maintaining high quality standards to support the safe use and performance of heavy-duty lifting slings.
Responsibilities- Operate a sit-down sewing machine to sew product information tags onto Tufflex slings according to established specifications and patterns.
- Follow production schedules and goals, working efficiently to meet daily and weekly output targets.
- Perform basic machine set-up and adjustments to ensure optimal sewing performance and stitch quality.
- Inspect sewn tags and slings for accuracy, consistency, and quality, identifying and correcting defects before products move forward in the process.
- Apply established efficiency and quality standards throughout the sewing process to support safe, reliable sling performance.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in an industrial sewing environment with multiple machines running.
- Work collaboratively with team members in the sewing department to support smooth production flow.
- Handle materials and finished slings carefully, recognizing that the products are designed to carry very heavy loads and must meet strict quality requirements.
- Previous experience working in a production environment.
- Prior machine operating experience, preferably with industrial or sewing machinery.
- Ability to perform quality inspection on finished products and identify defects.
- Understanding of efficiency and quality standards in a manufacturing or production setting.
- Ability to operate and monitor a sit-down sewing machine safely and accurately.
- High School Diploma.
- Ability to work Monday through Friday on 2nd shift (2:00 pm – 10:00 pm).
- Experience as a production worker in an industrial setting.
- Background as a machine operator with basic set-up and adjustment skills.
- Comfort working around loud machinery and in a structured, process-driven environment.
- Attention to detail when inspecting stitching patterns and product tags.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and adhere to established procedures.

The environment is production-driven, with a focus on efficiency, quality, and adherence to established processes, serving customers in manufacturing, construction, automotive, and warehouse/distribution industries. Appropriate industrial work attire is expected to ensure safety and comfort around active machinery.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Landisville, PA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.25 - $19.25/hr.
