Electrical Technician
Job Description
Maintain the quality and integrity of high-speed packaging and end-of-line automation equipment to ensure they are in good, safe condition and operating order.
Responsibilities- Maintain and perform preventive inspections and maintenance on plant production and support equipment.
- Troubleshoot electrical systems and perform electrical repairs on automated equipment.
- Test, install, and repair plant equipment and machinery.
- Perform basic mechanical work as required.
- Document work performed in an SAP Maintenance System and communicate work activities to peers and leaders daily.
- Use software and a laptop computer to interface and troubleshoot AB / Rockwell PLC’s, inverter (VFD) drives, and servo systems.
- Routinely work with 24Vdc control voltage and 480Vac power.
- Observe all compliance practices and procedures in the performance of duties.
- Follow compliance processes such as Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Food Safety / Food Defense, Health & Safety and Environmental, LOTO, and Arc Flash.
- Experience as a maintenance technician, particularly in preventive maintenance and electrical troubleshooting.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
- Experience with troubleshooting PLCs, with Allen-Bradley and Rockwell experience preferred.
- Preferred minimum of 2–5 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in electrical and mechanical tasks.
- Experience using software and laptops for interfacing and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with compliance practices and procedures, especially in manufacturing settings.

Work EnvironmentWork on the 1st Shift AWS Day Shift from 6am to 6pm, with training possibly on the first shift initially. The 12-hour continental rotating schedule means you'll work half the year, following a pattern of alternating workdays and days off across two weeks.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $83200.00/yr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
