Key Responsibilities

  • Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities
  • Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
  • Maintain general ledger accuracy and balance sheet integrity
  • Prepare financial reporting packages and variance analyses
  • Review lease agreements and support tenant billing activities
  • Assist with annual budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Support property accounting and portfolio reporting activities
  • Participate in acquisition, disposition, financing, and due diligence projects
  • Assist with internal controls, audit requests, and compliance initiatives

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related discipline.
• At least 1 year of accounting experience, including exposure to close processes and reconciliations.
• Background in public accounting is strongly preferred.
• CPA eligibility or progress toward certification is preferred.
• Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting principles.
• Advanced Excel skills with the ability to work efficiently with large data sets and schedules.
• Experience in commercial real estate, property accounting, REIT environments, or Yardi is a plus.
