This role is essential in managing front-desk operations, office coordination, and site communications while supporting various HR processes. The individual will be responsible for creating a welcoming environment for visitors, handling calls and mail, and ensuring the smooth operation of office supplies and meeting spaces. Additionally, the role involves coordinating office equipment, organizing cultural events, processing expenses, and providing crucial HR support including onboarding/offboarding, employee engagement activities, record maintenance, recruitment coordination, and assisting with policy communication.

Responsibilities
  • Welcome visitors and manage front-desk operations.
  • Handle incoming calls and mail efficiently.
  • Maintain office supplies and ensure meeting spaces are well-organized.
  • Coordinate office equipment and manage service agreements.
  • Organize cultural events and process expenses accurately.
  • Support HR processes including onboarding, offboarding, and employee engagement activities.
  • Maintain accurate records and assist with recruitment coordination.
  • Help communicate company policies effectively.
Essential Skills
  • Experience in office administration and HR admin.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Outgoing personality with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Professional telephone manner and presentable appearance.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to multitask, demonstrate initiative, and work well under pressure.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Good computer skills with a willingness to learn new technologies.
  • Ability to handle administrative support tasks efficiently.
Work Environment

The position primarily operates within a standard office environment, requiring frequent use of a computer, phone, and standard office equipment. Physical demands include sitting or standing for extended periods, occasionally walking moderate distances within the facility, and lifting items up to 20-40 lbs. The role may involve light physical activity such as bending and reaching. The work environment may include occasional exposure to dust, lubricants, solvents, and noise from machinery. Appropriate PPE and electrostatic dissipative protection must be worn in certain areas, while office/business casual attire is suitable otherwise.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Albuquerque, NM.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $27.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
