Job Description

The Recruiter II is responsible for managing the recruitment process, including recruiting, interviewing, checking references, making job offers, and conducting orientation for new employees. This role also involves performing exit interviews and processing changes in employee status. The position requires a bachelor's degree and 5-8 years of experience in the field or a related area. The ideal candidate will be familiar with a variety of concepts, practices, and procedures within the recruitment field and will rely on extensive experience and judgment to achieve goals. The Recruiter II may lead and direct the work of others and reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, interview, and check references for potential employees.
  • Make job offers and conduct orientation sessions for new employees.
  • Perform exit interviews and process changes in employee status.
  • Lead and direct the work of others as needed.
  • Plan and accomplish recruitment goals using extensive experience and judgment.

Essential Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 5-8 years of experience in recruitment or a related area.
  • Familiarity with various recruitment concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Experience in technical recruiting and sourcing.
  • US citizenship due to export controls.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • 4+ years of sourcing and recruiting experience.
  • Ability to creatively source passive talent.
  • Experience in talent acquisition and SDE sourcing.

Work Environment

The Recruiter II typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. This role requires a wide degree of creativity and latitude, with the expectation to plan and accomplish various tasks independently. The work environment supports extensive collaboration and may involve leading and directing the work of others.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Seattle, WA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $50.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
