What You'll Do- Perform production MIG welding on a variety of steel products
- Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions
- Set up parts and fixtures for welding operations
- Weld in multiple positions, including flat, vertical, and overhead
- Visually inspect welds to ensure quality standards are met
- Grind and finish welds as needed
- Utilize hand tools and other fabrication equipment
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area
- Work with team members to meet daily production goals
- Interest in welding and manufacturing
- Ability to read measurements and follow instructions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic
- Ability to work in a production environment
- Willingness to learn and develop welding skills
- Previous MIG welding experience
- Welding school, vocational training, or certification
- Experience reading blueprints
- Experience using grinders, hand tools, and fabrication equipment
- Manufacturing or production experience

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Effingham, IL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
