• Perform production MIG welding on a variety of steel products
• Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions
• Set up parts and fixtures for welding operations
• Weld in multiple positions, including flat, vertical, and overhead
• Visually inspect welds to ensure quality standards are met
• Grind and finish welds as needed
• Utilize hand tools and other fabrication equipment
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area
• Work with team members to meet daily production goals

• Interest in welding and manufacturing
• Ability to read measurements and follow instructions
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic
• Ability to work in a production environment
• Willingness to learn and develop welding skills

• Previous MIG welding experience
• Welding school, vocational training, or certification
• Experience reading blueprints
• Experience using grinders, hand tools, and fabrication equipment
• Manufacturing or production experience

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Effingham, IL.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
