Job Description

What You'll Do- Perform venipuncture and specimen collection on pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
- Accurately collect, label, process, and prepare specimens for testing and transport
- Verify patient information, test orders, and specimen documentation
- Explain collection procedures to patients and provide a positive experience
- Maintain quality, safety, and regulatory standards throughout the collection process
- Support daily laboratory operations and collaborate with healthcare professionals
- Assist with data entry, patient information updates, and routine administrative tasks
- High School Diploma or GED
- Phlebotomy certification (where required)
- 6 months to 2 years of recent phlebotomy experience
- Experience performing blood draws using straight and butterfly needles
- Comfortable working with pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
- Strong attention to detail, communication, and customer service skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical or laboratory environment
- Experience in a hospital, laboratory, or Patient Service Center (PSC)
- Familiarity with specimen processing, centrifuging, and handling procedures
- Knowledge of OSHA and laboratory safety standards
This is a fully onsite position in a fast-paced clinical setting. You'll work closely with patients, healthcare providers, and laboratory staff while supporting high-quality patient care and accurate laboratory testing.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Tulsa, OK.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
