Maintenance Technician

A food manufacturing company located in Kent is looking for a full time Maintenance Technician who is a team player, has an increased Electrical aptitude, and is detailed in their work. The position is first shift 6am-2:30pm, with occasional overtime required during peak seasons.

Maintain all operational equipment and facility infrastructure

* Facilitate process set-up and start-up as needed

* Collaborate with other functional departments in the scheduling of down time and PM repairs

* Other duties as assigned

JOB Requirements:

* Minimum 2 years' industrial mechanic experience

* Technically sound and hands-on in troubleshooting: CNC / Pneumatic / Hydraulic and Multi- Processing type equipment

* Experience with PM's (Preventative Maintenance Programs)

* Knowledge of PLC's

* Knowledge of electrical standards and applications

* Ability to read blueprints; electrical; hydraulics and pneumatic schematics

* Strong written, interpersonal, communication and organizational skills

* Detailed and results oriented

* Knowledge and application of OSHA regulations

* Act as a liaison with vendors when necessary

* Ability to work flexible and/or extended/Saturday hours depending on demands.

* Ability to climb and move around machinery

* Ability to kneel, stand or bend and be able to lift 50+ pounds

* Ability to work at heights
