Full-Time Experienced Restaurant Server

Café Vincotto in Berkeley Heights, NJ, is seeking an experienced, professional, and personable server to join our team full-time.

This is an evening position, typically beginning at 2:00 PM and ending between 10:00 and 11:00 PM. Weekend availability is required.

Estimated weekly earnings: $800–$1,200, depending on schedule and experience.

Responsibilities:

• Welcome guests and provide friendly, attentive service
• Present the menu, explain specials, and answer questions
• Take and accurately enter food and beverage orders
• Serve food and monitor tables throughout the dining experience
• Anticipate guests’ needs and respond promptly to requests
• Communicate effectively with the kitchen and other team members
• Complete assigned opening, closing, and side-work duties
• Maintain a clean, organized, and properly prepared dining room
• Handle checks and payments accurately
• Work collaboratively to ensure smooth, professional service

Qualifications:

• Previous full-service restaurant experience is required
• English communication skills
• Familiarity with restaurant POS systems
• Food, menu, and service knowledge
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
• Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented
• Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment
• Ability to multitask and remain composed under pressure
• Reliable transportation
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
