Daycare Teacher / Early Childhood Educator

Building Brilliance Day Care Center is seeking a caring, dependable, and energetic Daycare Teacher to join our team in Long Island City. You’ll help create a safe, loving, and engaging environment where toddlers can learn, grow, and thrive through play-based activities, enrichment, and personalized attention.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and care for children in a clean, safe, welcoming setting.
• Plan and lead age-appropriate learning and play activities.
• Support early learning in language, math, creative arts, movement, and social skills.
• Assist with meals, snacks, outdoor play, and daily routines.
• Maintain a warm, professional relationship with children and families.
• Help keep the classroom organized, clean, and running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Experience working with young children in a daycare, preschool, or childcare setting.
• Patient, loving, and reliable personality.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to help create a positive, structured, and nurturing classroom.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain it is a plus.
• Early childhood education background is a plus.
