Position Title: Youth Pastor
Reports To: Lead Pastor
Classification: Full-Time
Compensation: $38,000–$45,000 annually (commensurate with experience and
hours), with potential housing allowance and benefits

Position Summary
The Youth Pastor at White Chapel Church will provide leadership and vision to our
ministry with middle and high school students. This role exists to help students know
Jesus, grow in their faith, and actively participate in the life of the church. The Youth
Pastor will build strong relationships with students and families, disciple young people
through teaching and mentoring, and equip adult volunteers to invest in the next
generation.
Key Responsibilities:
Student Ministry Leadership
• Plan and lead weekly youth gatherings focused on biblical teaching, prayer,
worship, and fun
• Preach weekly (and/or facilitate a speaking team) at youth services, occasionally
at Warner Christian Academy, and 1-2x a year on Sunday mornings
• Attend lunchtime at Warner Christian Academy and other local schools to
engage with students
• Create opportunities for students to engage in small groups, discipleship, and
peer relationships
• Foster an environment where students are known, loved, and pointed to Christ
Volunteer Team Development
• Recruit, train, and develop adult and student leaders
• Provide clear expectations, encouragement, and ongoing support for the youth
ministry team
• Ensure all volunteers follow church safety and background check policies
Events & Outreach
• Plan and execute regular events (retreats, mission trips, service projects, social
gatherings)
• Cultivate a welcoming culture for visitors and unchurched students
• Maintain presence at local school events and foster relationships within the
broader community
Church Integration & Collaboration
• Encourage student participation in Sunday worship, serving opportunities, and
church-wide events
• Collaborate with parents to support discipleship in the home• Work closely with church staff and attend team meetings as needed
Qualifications
• A growing and maturing relationship with Jesus Christ
• A clear sense of calling to ministry
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, especially with students and
families
• Demonstrated experience in youth ministry (volunteer or vocational)
• Ability to plan, organize, and lead in a team environment
• Agreement with the beliefs, vision, and values of White Chapel Church
• Bachelor’s degree in ministry, theology, or a related field preferred (not required)
Position Details:
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Compensation: $38,000–$45,000 annually (negotiable based on experience)
