As a Full-Time Specialty Merchandise Associate at Food Lion in Hilton Head, SC, your role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service within the grocery department and ensuring the effective merchandising of specialty products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Service: Greet and assist customers, providing information on specialty products and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
• Product Merchandising: Stock, order, organize, and display specialty items—including health and beauty products, spices, and international foods—according to company standards to attract customers and drive sales.
  
• Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, anticipate sales trends, and order products as necessary. Maintain accurate records and ensure products are properly labeled and priced.
  
• Operational Compliance: Adhere to all company policies, including those related to food safety and workplace safety, to maintain a clean and secure environment.

Requirements:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience: Previous experience in retail merchandising or a related field is advantageous but not required.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to perform repetitive hand and arm motions, bend, lift products, and stand for extended periods.
