About the Position

We are looking for a dependable, skilled, and motivated General Construction / Interior Remodel Technician to join our team. This position will focus primarily on flooring installation and interior remodeling projects, while also assisting with a variety of general construction tasks.

The ideal candidate takes pride in quality workmanship, works well independently and as part of a team, and understands the importance of keeping a clean, safe, and professional jobsite.

Key Responsibilities

• Install various types of flooring, including LVP, laminate, hardwood, engineered wood, and other flooring materials
• Perform flooring preparation, including demolition, removal, subfloor repair, leveling, and surface preparation
• Complete interior remodeling work such as trim, baseboards, doors, drywall, painting, and finish carpentry
• Assist with kitchen, bathroom, and other residential or commercial interior remodels
• Perform demolition and removal of existing materials as needed
• Measure, cut, install, and finish construction materials accurately
• Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Identify and address minor construction issues during projects
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Follow project plans, instructions, and quality standards
• Communicate professionally with customers, supervisors, subcontractors, and other team members
• Complete projects efficiently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship

Qualifications

• Previous construction, remodeling, or flooring experience preferred
• Flooring installation experience is highly valued
• Basic knowledge of construction methods, materials, and tools
• Ability to read measurements and perform accurate cuts
• Comfortable using hand and power tools
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license preferred
• Ability to work on your feet for extended periods and perform physical labor
• Ability to lift and move construction materials and equipment
• Ability to work independently and follow directions
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and professionalism
