Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner PMHNP

Growing integrated Family Medicine and Mental Health Practice providing psychiatric care is hiring for a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) at our Fort Worth, TX location. Excellent Salary $125K-$150K with full benefit package. Work Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5 PM, no weekends, for psychiatric care clinic. Sign on bonus available for the right candidate.

Position Title: Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)

Job Duties & Responsibilities: Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)

• Performs medical/psychiatric assessments.
• Performs medical evaluations of new patients upon admission and performs psychiatric evaluations as needed.
• Responsible for Medication Management.
• Responsible for providing medications according to approved formulary.
• Provides on-going patient education.

Education & Experience: Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)

• Graduate of a Baccalaureate degree, and a specialty as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
• 1+ year of PMHNP experience with prescribing medication preferred.
• Experience with E and M coding guidelines for billing
• Prior psychiatric experience is preferred
• Advanced practice degree PMHNP
• Must have an unrestricted Texas license as an APRN/CNS
• Must have prescriptive authority and DEA number
• Must have a valid BLS certification
