A-Line Staffing is now hiring a Medical Assistant – Primary Care Clinic. Part Time.

Hours

  • Part-time: 20 hours per week
  • Business hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–7:30 PM; Saturday, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM; Sunday, 9:00 AM–4:30 PM
  • Assignments are expected to last six months; Opportunities for extension and conversion to full-time employment may be available.

Compensation

  • $27.73 per hour
  • Benefits are available to full-time employees.
  • 401(k) with company match is available to full-time employees.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome patients warmly, provide excellent customer service, and maintain a positive clinic experience.
  • Assist providers by rooming patients, collecting medical histories, obtaining vital signs, and collecting specimens for point-of-care testing.
  • Prepare and administer vaccinations in accordance with established clinical protocols and provide appropriate patient education.
  • Perform point-of-care testing and maintain required quality control procedures.
  • Protect patient privacy and confidentiality by following HIPAA and PHI requirements.
  • Manage patient check-in and check-out efficiently while maintaining accurate information in electronic medical records and registers.
  • Answer phone calls, take messages, and provide accurate information to patients as needed.
  • Assist patients with questions regarding insurance, copayments, billing, and additional service charges.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked clinical and patient areas.
  • Monitor and order medical supplies as needed to support daily clinic operations.
  • Communicate patient care and operational concerns to the provider and clinic team.
  • Support efficient clinic workflow, patient wait-time expectations, quality standards, and overall patient satisfaction.
  • Participate in community outreach and initiatives that support clinic growth and engagement.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Must be certified or licensed as a Medical Assistant.
  • Prior Medical Assistant experience is highly preferred, particularly in primary care, urgent care, emergency room, family medicine, or internal medicine settings.
