PROMAN Staffing has partnered with a well-known Manufacturing facility in Lombard, IL (60148).
We are now hiring Manufacturing Associates for MIG Welders who are team players, versatile, and dependable!
This position involves performing MIG welding on a variety of metal components, primarily supporting the manufacturing of commercial roofing-related products.
MIG Welder Job Summary
- $20-$22
- 1st Shift 7:00AM-3:30PM
- Perform MIG welding on steel and aluminum components based on blueprints and specifications
- Assemble and fabricate parts using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
- Conduct quality inspections on completed welds to ensure they meet safety and company standards
- Operate standard chop saws and other cutting tools safely (safety training provided)
Job Title Qualifications
- Must have welding experience
- Must pass drug screen and background check
- Ability to read and interpret welding blueprints and technical drawings
- Ability to stand, bend, lift, and move throughout an 8-hour shift
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Familiarity with chop saws, grinders, and other shop tools
