Machine Operator Helper

1st shift Machine Operator– Temp to Hire
To start immediately
After 3/4 months will transfer to 2nd shift

Peoplelink Staffing Solutions, in partnership with a leading manufacturer in Huntley, IL, is seeking for Machine Operatror to join their team! This is a great opportunity to work with a company that values safety, teamwork, and long-term career growth.

Position Details:

Pay: $17.50
Schedule: Monday through Friday
Hours: 7a-3p
*After 3/4 months hours will be 3p-11p
Type: Temp-to-Hire

Position Summary:

• Operate machines safely and efficiently according to standard operating procedures.
• Perform quality inspections using calipers, tape measures, and other measurement tools.
• Utilize the metric system for part measurements and adjustments.
• Monitor machines for proper operation and report any issues to the supervisor.
• Maintain accurate production and inspection records.
• Assist with material handling, setup, and cleanup as needed.
• Wear proper PPE throughout the entire shift and follow all safety guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Experience operating production or manufacturing machinery preferred.
• Ability to read a tape measure and use inspection tools such as calipers.
• Familiarity with the metric system.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and machine interface.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Open to recent high school graduates with a willingness to learn.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
