Commercial HVAC / Refrigeration Technician

We are seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC/Refrigeration Technician to join the team of one of our great clients in the Pennsauken, NJ area. This is a full-time, permanent position with a growing organization that offers skilled technicians the opportunity to build a long-term career.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience servicing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment. This position is well suited for a technician who enjoys field service, problem-solving, and working with a variety of commercial systems and customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, service, and repair commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems
• Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled service
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, and control-system issues
• Service commercial air conditioning, heating, refrigeration, and related equipment
• Identify equipment problems and recommend appropriate repairs
• Perform component replacement, system repairs, and equipment adjustments
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and equipment specifications
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation
• Communicate professionally with customers and provide clear explanations of repairs
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
• Follow company safety procedures and applicable industry standards

Qualifications

• Previous commercial HVAC and/or refrigeration service experience
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities
• Solid understanding of refrigeration systems and HVAC equipment
• Experience with electrical controls, motors, compressors, and related components
• EPA 608 certification required or strongly preferred
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and schematics
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
• Valid driver's license and reliable driving record
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Dependable, professional, and committed to quality workmanship
