School Psychologist – Elementary

Location: Torrington, CT Area
Pay: $50.33–$60.50 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time | On-Site | 35 hours per week
Hours: 8:45 AM–3:35 PM
Dates: August 26, 2026 – June 9, 2027

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial and triennial evaluations
• Provide a small amount of individual and group counseling
• Facilitate PPT (Planning and Placement Team) meetings
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and related-service providers
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and student support planning
• Maintain accurate evaluation and student documentation
• Support students' academic, behavioral, and social-emotional development

Qualifications

• School Psychologist certification (070) required
• Connecticut certification required
• Previous school-based experience preferred
• Strong assessment, communication, and collaboration skills
• Ability to work effectively with elementary-aged students and school teams
