Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Oregon TSPC teaching license with Special Education endorsement
- Proven experience as a Special Education Teacher, ideally serving K-12 students
- Strong background in case management, developing and monitoring IEPs
- Exceptional communication skills for virtual collaboration with staff, families, and service providers
- Proficient with technology and online classroom platforms
- Committed to upholding privacy, compliance, and equitable student support
Role Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of about 35 special education students, ensuring all academic and behavioral needs are met
- Design, implement, and review Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed to help each learner achieve their goals
- Collaborate virtually with educators, parents, and related service professionals to ensure cohesive support
- Maintain thorough, timely documentation in accordance with state and federal guidelines
- Participate in remote IEP meetings, eligibility reviews, and parent conferences
- Provide individualized instruction and accommodations in a digital environment
