Job Description

A school district in Westminster, Colorado is seeking a qualified School Psychologist for a full‑time, school‑based contract. This position serves K–12 students and focuses on assessment, intervention, and collaboration to support academic achievement and social‑emotional development. Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments to evaluate academic, cognitive, behavioral, and social‑emotional functioning
  • Interpret assessment results and prepare clear, compliant written evaluation reports
  • Participate in IEP meetings, eligibility determinations, and multidisciplinary team discussions
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, and families regarding student learning, behavior, and mental health needs
  • Support the development and monitoring of Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
  • Assist with MTSS, early intervention, and school‑based mental health initiatives as applicable
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Support a safe, inclusive, and student‑centered learning environment

Qualifications

  • Active Colorado Special Services Provider License with School Psychologist endorsement required
  • Ability to pass background checks, fingerprinting, and district clearances
  • Licensing and credentialing support may be available for eligible candidates

Education

  • Master’s degree, Educational Specialist (Ed.S.), or higher in School Psychology or a related field

Experience

  • Prior school‑based experience preferred
  • Experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations and participating in special education processes preferred
  • New graduates with appropriate credentials and internship experience are encouraged to apply

Skills

  • Strong assessment, data interpretation, and report‑writing skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong organizational and time‑management skills
  • Commitment to supporting diverse student populations

Work Hours

  • Monday–Friday
  • 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM
  • Approximately 37–40 hours per week
