Job Description

We are looking for a Production Designer to support the development of a variety of consumer products. This position is ideal for someone who combines strong visual judgment with a precise, process-driven approach to preparing files for manufacturing and print execution. The role partners closely with cross-functional teams and external vendors to ensure every deliverable is accurate, consistent, and ready for development through final approval.

Responsibilities:

  • Transform approved creative concepts into organized, production-ready artwork and file packages for individual products and coordinated collections.
  • Prepare and maintain templates, specification documents, and technical file sets that support accuracy and consistency across multiple product categories.
  • Revise production assets following sample evaluations, incorporating feedback to improve quality, fit, and execution details.
  • Collaborate with internal partners, manufacturers, and outside suppliers to keep projects moving efficiently and resolve production-related questions.
  • Contribute to product development conversations from early design reviews through final file delivery, offering production-focused input when needed.
  • Examine vendor proofs and pre-production materials to confirm artwork, layout, and technical details meet established standards.
  • Organize production documentation and digital assets so they are easy to access, track, and update throughout the project lifecycle.
  • 3+ years of experience in graphic design, production design, or a related creative production environment.
  • Portfolio of design work is required.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Demonstrated background in print production, packaging, or consumer product file preparation.
  • Experience creating detailed spec sheets, tech packs, or other production documentation for manufactured products.
  • Familiarity with apparel, home goods, seasonal products, or similar merchandise categories.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with strong attention to detail, version control, and deadline discipline.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and SharePoint for documentation, communication, and file management.
