Social Worker in Littleton, CO

Make a positive impact in the lives of students as a Social Worker in a dynamic K–12 environment. This rewarding contract position, beginning at the end of August and extending through May of the following year, offers an opportunity to support a diverse student population across multiple campuses, covering two separate FMLA leaves in the Commerce City area.

Utilize your school-based social work expertise to provide critical counseling, resources, and interventions to students, ensuring they have the support they need to thrive academically and emotionally. As part of this itinerant role, you’ll work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and families to create a welcoming and nurturing school atmosphere.

Desired Qualifications:

• Possession of current Colorado (CO) Social Worker licensure
• Experience supporting K–12 students within school settings
• Familiarity with itinerant roles or multi-site caseloads a plus
• Comfort with adapting to new environments and collaborating with diverse teams
• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individual and group counseling services to students
• Develop and implement intervention plans tailored to student needs
• Respond proactively to student crises and provide appropriate referrals
• Work closely with educators and families to support student growth and well-being
• Maintain accurate, timely records in compliance with district and licensure expectations
• Adjust services based on caseload needs and more specific directions as provided
