Test Technician – Contract Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Test Technician to join our team. In this role, you will execute test methodologies, maintain specialized equipment, and troubleshoot complex technical issues.

Shifts & Compensation

We are hiring for two distinct Monday–Friday schedules (40 hours per week):

• Day Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM PST | Pay: $22.70 – $28.37 / hour
• Swing Shift: 3:00 PM – 12:00 AM PST | Pay: $24.97 – $31.21 / hour (6-month duration)

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

• Executes and helps implement improvements to test plans, providing feedback on modifications and outcomes.
• Helps select specialized test equipment and performs setup, loading, and running of complex programs.
• Performs complex calibration, maintenance, upgrades, and repairs on test equipment and tools.
• Adapts established testing procedures based on unique technology needs and documents results.
• Identifies, debugs, and troubleshoots complex testing issues or failures, recommending root causes and solutions.
• Collaborates across teams to provide project status, flag obstacles, and suggest remediation.
• Manages project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables for small to mid-sized projects.

1. Experience in the execution of test methodologies for various technologies.
2. Experience following, adapting, or defining established procedures.
3. Proven background in debugging, troubleshooting, and reporting on technical failures.
4. Experience in setting up, maintaining, and repairing specialized test equipment.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: 0.5 to 1 year of relevant experience.
• Technologies: Microsoft Teams.
• Physical Requirements: Must be able to push, pull, and lift up to 25 lbs. (No forklift or driving required).
