Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active Georgia Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License
  • GA Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC) Teaching Certification
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
  • Previous experience in a school setting is strongly preferred
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Commitment to evidence-based, student-centered therapy

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech and language therapy to students according to IEP goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to promote student success
  • Conduct assessments, evaluate communication skills, and document progress
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning
  • Maintain accurate records and comply with state and district policies
  • Adapt therapy techniques to support diverse learning needs
