Job Title: Assembly Technician

Duration: 6 month contract to hire

Shift:

  • 1st Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
  • 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM

Pay Rate: $21-$24/hr

Location: Everett, WA

Schedule:

  • 1st Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
  • 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
  • Monday-Friday (5x8 schedule)

Interview:

  • One onsite interview (approximately 30 minutes)
  • Facility tour and walkthrough of manufacturing cells


Must-Haves:

  • Experience with basic hand tools (screwdrivers, etc.)
  • Ability to follow detailed work instructions
  • Basic computer skills
  • Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing/production environment
  • Strong reliability and ability to meet daily production goals


Plusses:

  • Soldering experience
  • Pressure calibration experience
  • Previous manufacturing or assembly experience
  • Experience certifying or testing completed products


Day-to-Day:

  • Perform light mechanical assembly work
  • Follow standardized work instructions and build procedures
  • Assemble units using basic hand tools
  • Complete pressure calibration processes on finished units
  • Secure and certify completed units
  • Utilize computers to document work and follow production requirements
  • Work within a U-shaped manufacturing cell environment
  • Produce approximately 30 units per day (about 15 minutes per unit)
  • Maintain quality and productivity standard

The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, comfortable following detailed work instructions, and thrives in a team-oriented manufacturing setting. Candidates with prior assembly, manufacturing, soldering, or calibration experience will stand out, though training will be provided for qualified individuals.
