Job Title: Material Handler – Warehouse Associate I (Temp-to-Hire)
Location: Mesa, AZ 85212
Pay: $20/hour to start, eligible for increase to $22/hour after 3-4 months upon conversion
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:00pm
Duration: Temp-to-hire (3–4 months), potential permanent role based on performance

Position Overview:
Kelly is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Material Handler/Warehouse Associate I for a well-maintained, air-conditioned 30,000 sq. ft. warehouse. This is an entry-level position with hands-on work involving high-value industrial materials, including 20–24ft stainless steel and plastic pipes and fittings. We're looking for someone dependable, self-sufficient, and teachable, with prior warehouse experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Pick, pack, and kit orders: pull tickets, pick parts, package, and send to shipping
  • Support distribution and receiving: open incoming shipments, verify inventory, route materials, and process documentation
  • Load and unload freight trucks, semi-trucks, UPS/FedEx shipments
  • Help with material handling, staging, and order assembly
  • Maintain clean and organized work area and follow all safety procedures
  • Support valve automation and assembly under the warehouse supervisor’s direction

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 0–2 years warehouse experience (entry-level, must have picking/packing/kitting knowledge)
  • Mechanically inclined; ability to handle expensive inventory with care
  • Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Must pass background check and drug screen prior to starting
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, well-presented, and punctual
  • Must provide your own steel-toe shoes
  • Appropriate, professional attire (T-shirts and regular shorts OK—no gym shorts)

  • Air-conditioned 30,000 sq. ft. facility
  • Opportunity to become a permanent team member after temp period
  • Daily tasks include: material picking, kitting, shipping, receiving, and interacting with occasional customers onsite
