Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Occupational Therapy license required
- Preferred initial certification by the National Board for Certification of Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
- Valid IVP Fingerprint Card required
- Previous experience working in school-based settings is highly valued
- Strong adaptability and communication skills
- Ability to travel between multiple school sites as part of an itinerant schedule
Responsibilities:
- Assess and provide therapy for students with diverse needs, ranging from mild to severe
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support students’ access to educational opportunities
- Participate in IEP meetings, documentation, and progress reporting
- Adapt interventions as needed to maximize student participation in school settings
