Step into a fulfilling role supporting students and educators as a Special Education Teacher, where your expertise will have a direct, positive impact across multiple school communities. This contract-to-hire opportunity offers the chance to work part-time (.6 FTE) across three school sites, providing much-needed support to SPED teachers with high caseloads. Starting as soon as possible and continuing through the end of the school year, you’ll rotate between campuses in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current CTC Certification in Mild/Moderate Special Education (Required)
  • Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher strongly preferred
  • Skillful in collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
  • Flexibility to travel among local schools as part of your weekly schedule
  • Strong organizational skills to manage diverse needs and adapt to different settings
  • Passion for supporting students with unique learning requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Assist and support fellow SPED teachers by managing overflow caseloads
  • Collaborate in developing and implementing IEPs
  • Provide direct instructional support to students with mild to moderate disabilities
  • Work with general education staff to promote inclusive learning environments
  • Communicate effectively with families and staff to ensure continued student progress
  • Adapt teaching strategies and materials to meet a variety of student needs

Compensation for this position ranges from $35.34 to $50.34. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
