Job Description
Step into an enriching contract opportunity serving students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP–CCC) in an onsite school-based environment near Richmond Hill, GA. This assignment runs from now through late May 2027, offering a steady full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week. You’ll be a valued clinical resource, providing assessment and intervention to meet each child’s communication needs while collaborating closely with school staff and caregivers. Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid or transferable Georgia SLP License
- Current GaPSC (Georgia Professional Standards Commission) Teaching Certificate
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- School-based experience strongly preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to work effectively in an educational setting
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech, language, and communication therapy services to students according to IEP requirements
- Conduct speech/language assessments and assist in eligibility determinations
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress, evaluations, and therapy sessions
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, staff consultations, and parent communications
- Serve as an advocate for students’ communication needs in the school environment
