Position: Special Education Teacher
Grade Levels: K–5
Setting: Comprehensive Development Class (CDC) – Mod/Severe
Schedule: Full-Time
Position Type: Interim
Pay: $40–$47/hour
ProCare Therapy is seeking a passionate Special Education Teacher to support students in a K–5 Comprehensive Development Class (CDC) in Gallatin, TN. This is a full-time interim opportunity for an educator who is dedicated to creating a supportive and engaging learning environment for students with moderate to severe needs.
Position Details
Support students in a K–5 CDC classroom
Work with students with moderate to severe disabilities
Develop and implement individualized instruction based on student needs and IEP goals
Collaborate with paraprofessionals, related service providers, and school staff
Provide a structured, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment
Full-time interim position
Requirements
Valid Tennessee 461 Special Education License required
Experience working with students with moderate to severe disabilities preferred
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Commitment to supporting students with diverse learning needs
