Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students in an elementary school setting as a dedicated paraprofessional. In this role, you'll work one-on-one with a student, providing essential classroom assistance and contributing to an engaging learning environment. This assignment starts as soon as possible and continues through the end of October, with a work schedule from 9:00 AM to 4:25 PM.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active Missouri substitute certificate (SUB cert on DESE)
• Willingness to complete fingerprinting as required by the district
• Prior experience in schools, particularly with behavioral support
• Reliable personal transportation to ensure punctuality
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized attention and support to your assigned student
• Assist with academic tasks under the direction of classroom teachers
• Implement behavior management strategies as directed
• Promote an inclusive, safe, and positive classroom experience
• Maintain clear documentation and communication regarding student progress and needs
