Work Hours: 32.5–35 hours per week (onsite)
Job Description:
An excellent opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher supporting students in grades K–8 in Brockton, Massachusetts. This school-based role provides specialized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative and dedicated educator who can effectively support students across elementary and middle school grade levels.
Qualifications:
- Active Massachusetts Special Education teaching license
- Experience working with K–8 students in special education settings
- Strong classroom management and instructional skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized instruction to students in grades K–8
- Develop and implement IEPs aligned with individual student goals
- Adapt curriculum and instructional strategies to meet student needs
- Monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed
- Collaborate with general education teachers, families, and related service providers
- Maintain accurate and compliant special education documentation
