An established and highly respected law firm is seeking an experienced Trusts & Estates / Probate Paralegal to join its growing Private Wealth practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned paralegal with a strong transactional Trusts & Estates background who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and enjoys working directly with attorneys, clients, and fiduciaries on sophisticated estate planning, trust administration, and probate matters.

About the Role

This position is ideal for a transactional-minded paralegal with experience handling estate planning, probate administration, and trust administration matters. The role supports a busy team of attorneys and requires someone who can work independently, manage competing priorities, and provide exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and manage estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, and ancillary documents
  • Assist with probate and trust administration matters
  • Prepare probate court filings and related documentation
  • Draft probate petitions, asset inventories, accountings, and correspondence
  • Coordinate with clients, fiduciaries, financial institutions, and outside professionals
  • Maintain case files and track deadlines
  • Assist with fiduciary and estate administration matters
  • Manage attorney workflows and prioritize assignments appropriately
  • Support multiple attorneys within a collaborative team structure
Qualifications

Required
  • 5+ years of Trusts & Estates and Probate Paralegal experience
  • Strong transactional Trusts & Estates background
  • Estate Planning experience
  • Probate Administration experience
  • Trust Administration experience
  • Experience drafting and managing wills, trusts, probate petitions, inventories, accountings, and related documents
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Stable employment history demonstrating longevity and commitment
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Preferred
  • Probate litigation exposure
  • Fiduciary administration experience
  • Strong probate court filing experience
  • Experience supporting multiple attorneys in a sophisticated Trusts & Estates practice
