Diversified is actively seeking an experienced Sit-down Forklift Driver to join our team in South Houston near Hobby Airport. This role supports a premier natural stone import and distribution facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Safe Operation: Safely operate a sit-down forklift to load, unload, stack, and move heavy natural stone products.
- Material Handling: Move delicate and high-value materials including marble slabs, travertine tiles, stone pavers, and pool copings.
- Inventory Control: Organize warehouse stock, prepare orders for shipment, and assist with general warehouse maintenance.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all stone materials are transported without damage or fracturing.
Candidate Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience operating a sit-down forklift specifically moving marble slabs, large granite stone, or similar heavy, fragile materials.
- Skills: Strong spatial awareness and a proven track record of handling top-heavy or oversized loads safely.
- Reliability: Punctual, detail-oriented, and safety-focused.
Hourly Pay: $15.00+ or DOE
